Military Buildings
Legacy Building Solutions (LBS) can supply and install cost effective, durable structures that are optimized for specific military project requirements. We have the unique ability to easily vary building dimensions allowing for a high degree of fabric building customization. All of our fabric structures can be expanded, reduced or relocated and can be erected on new or existing soil, asphalt and concrete surfaces.
LBS tension fabric structures offer several advantages over traditional construction:
- Flexibility - Our fabric structures can easily be expanded, reduced or relocated. We have the ability to accommodate just about any eave height, roof slope or clear span.
- Reduced Construction Time - Our factory pre-fabricated structures can be installed quickly, improving construction schedules thereby saving money. Interior build-outs can be accommodated faster allowing for improved construction schedules. Our fabric aircraft hangars are easily erected using basic tools and readily available lifting gear.
- Ancillary Equipment - We have the capability to design aircraft hangars that can carry overhead cranes, fire suppression systems, heating and ventilation equipment, smoke curtains and lighting systems.
- Insulation - Our fabric structures can be insulated with fiberglass insulation, up to R-38.
- Rigid Steel Frames - Offered with hot dipped galvanized or red primer finishes. Our steel frames are made from recycled steel enhancing sustainable and LEED design.
- Value - Our fabric structures can be dismantled, relocated and reused.
- Sustainable Design - Translucent roofs provide natural light in our fabric buildings creating a safer working environment and controlling operational costs. We have solar kits available for power generation and space heating.
