The Legacy Building Solutions team designed and constructed this custom 66,000 sq ft tension fabric phosphate, urea and yaravera storage building in Carseland, Alberta. Our team of designers, developers and builders create unique, custom fabric building solutions for a wide variety of uses.

  • Building size: 140 feet x 420 feet with 40 feet x 180 feet lean-to
  • Hot dip galvanized steel frame with 15 oz. flame-retardant fabric
  • Stainless steel cables
  • 5 foot overhangs with wire mesh ventilation
  • Trusses support over 700 psf conveyor load
  • 21 Schaefer roof vents
  • Main building has 2 personnel doors on the endwall
  • Lean-to equipped with 2 overhead doors and 2 personnel doors
  • 3 ground snow, 0.1 rain load, 1kip non-reducible live load, 0.52 controlling wind load, R3 open exposure, standard occupancy, partially enclosed
  • Building use: Phosphate, Urea and Yaravera Storage
