The Legacy Building Solutions team designed and constructed this custom 48,600 sq ft tension fabric Salt Storage building in Lyons, Kansas. Our team of designers, developers and builders creates unique, custom fabric building solutions for a wide variety of uses.

  • Legacy crews dismantled old building and installed on existing site in 31 days
  • Clearances designed to match existing adjoining structure
  • Fabric seal attachment to adjoining structure
  • Hot dip galvanized steel frame
  • Cable-free system – braced bays use galvanized steel rods
  • 14 gauge purlins capped on ends
  • Clear interior liner with additional layer at the base
  • 12,500 lb. point load on two frames to support existing conveyor
  • 600 lbs. per lineal foot conveyor load on all frames
  • Ventilated with painted aluminum louvers, RV3000 ridge vents, filtered soffit intakes and mesh panels
  • 20 lb. ground snow load, 90 mph windspeed, exposure C, seismic B, fully exposed
