Indiana Department Of Transportation Road Salt Storage
& Distribution Building

12,480 sq ft Tension Fabric Building for Road Salt Storage & Distribution
Westfield, Indiana

Indiana Department of Transportation - Project Profile

The Rundown

This bulk storage building safely contains road salt and sand, protecting groundwater from leaching and keeping the salt accessible. The straight sidewalls create more room for tipping trucks and salt piles.

Customer Success

“With this Legacy design, we were able to save money and space by integrating a wash bay into the storage structure. The setup we use is also ideal for eliminating environmental concerns, since all the salt-laden water is contained instead of running off.”
