Built For
What's Next.
We reimagined what buildings could be—and proved it through hundreds of structures across 12+ industries worldwide.
Performance Without
Compromise.
Legacy Building Solutions engineers custom structures that solve problems traditional buildings can't.
Since 2010, we've combined rigid steel frames with proprietary PVC cladding systems to deliver faster construction, superior durability, and precise customization across sports facilities, industrial storage, military installations, and specialized applications worldwide.
From our patented attachment system to ISO 9001-certified manufacturing, every structure reflects our commitment to advanced engineering, in-house quality control, and solutions built specifically for your requirements.
Redesigning an
Entire Industry
In 2010, our founders had spent over a decade installing fabric buildings manufactured by others. They saw the same problems repeatedly: compromised quality, limited design flexibility, and structures that didn't look like buildings—they looked like tents.
They realized rigid steel frames could give fabric buildings the strength and clean lines of traditional construction. That insight led to a patented attachment system integrating PVC cladding with steel frames differently than anyone else in the industry.
Today, Legacy structures span sports complexes, bulk storage facilities, military installations, and manufacturing plants worldwide.
How We’re Different
Three principles separate Legacy from every competitor:
Advanced
Engineering
Custom-engineered for your exact specifications, not adapted from standard templates.
Engineers licensed in 25+ states and five Canadian provinces provide stamped drawings for any location worldwide. Every building meets your jurisdiction's codes—not generic approximations.
In-House
Control
Steel fabrication, painting, and panel manufacturing happen at our 87,000 sq. ft. Minnesota headquarters. Factory-trained installation crews deploy globally.
Complete vertical integration means quality control at every stage and faster project timelines than competitors relying on third-party suppliers.
Relentless Quality
Standards
ISO 9001:2015 certified processes, CWB and AWS certified welding, CSA A660 compliance, Florida Product Approval, and California Fire Certification.
Our patented attachment system and proprietary ExxoTec™ cladding set performance standards others measure against.
Our Core Values
Six principles guide every decision and project:
Quality
We provide the highest degree of quality in every component, solution, service, and endeavor of our company.
Listening
We listen with intent to value, respect, and understand what our clients, employees, and suppliers have to say.
Responsibility
We are committed to being consistent, true to our word, and accountable to each other, our clients, community, environment, and to our company.
Employees
We invest in our employees through professional development and growth opportunities. We will build and nurture relationships that promote positive engagement.
Teamwork
We are individuals working toward a shared goal to prosper as a team and achieve success for the whole. To encourage, collaborate, and celebrate success together.
Continuous Improvement
We relentlessly pursue creative solutions and excellence in all aspects of our business and personal performance. We continue to innovate with forward momentum.
Bigger Buildings,
Smaller Footprint.
Sustainability is embedded in how our structures function:
-
12% light translucence with white fabric, which reduces electrical lighting needs
-
Airtight enclosures reduced overall energy use and costs
-
Passive ventilation systems circulate air without power
-
High solar reflectance keeps buildings cooler naturally
-
Solar panel integration for off-grid applications
