Eaves

Our structures typically come with eaves, which is a little different from other suppliers. Our standard eaves are 18 inches, but because we customize all of our buildings, we often incorporate extended eaves into the designs. Wider eaves, especially in pavilion structures, extend the protection from the elements without adding a lot of extra costs. In many cases, the wise use of eaves makes the building more functional.

Of course, our eaves are typically equipped with soffits and our soffits are integral to the passive ventilation we use in many buildings. The benefits of passive ventilation are extensive.

Icebreakers

Icebreakers are metal spikes that break up sheets of ice and snow, preventing large pieces of debris from striking people and objects near the building. Icebreakers may be added the entire length of the building or only in high-value areas, such as over doors.

Gutters + Downspouts

Gutters and downspouts collect rainwater and divert it to a specified area. Using gutters and downspouts protects the building foundation and surrounding soil. The selected downspout and gutter system is installed along the building’s overhangs.
