The Rundown

The Ellington Racquet Club is a 44,880 sq ft indoor sports facility designed and installed by Legacy crews. Built with gray primed rigid steel frames and clad in tan and blue 28 oz. ExxoTec™ Elite fabric, the structure combines strength and aesthetics, while a white 19 oz. ExxoTec™ Pro liner brightens the interior. Engineered for 120 mph wind loads, 35 lb ground snow loads, and seismic category B, the building also includes gutters, downspouts, 33 ARV-2000 roof vents, and 18-in mesh soffit eaves for reliable water mitigation and passive ventilation.

Inside, the facility offers R-30 insulation, a spacious reception and viewing area, locker rooms, and eight indoor courts—four tennis and four pickleball. Two overhead coil doors, five walk doors, and a non-traditional MEP system supported by fans and a dedicated ventilation system ensure accessibility and comfort.
