Ridgid Steel Frame Buildings
All Legacy fabric structures have a solid steel frame made of fabricated I-beams. Galvanized steel frames and secondary members are manufactured on site using an ISO 9001:2015 certified process. Structural integrity starts with quality steel, so Legacy utilizes 55 ksi steel for steel framing members and small components. We install 10-gauge steel to 1-inch or thicker plates, depending on the project requirements.
Our steel fabrication facility is also used for painting and priming. Legacy offers a wide range of paint and primer colors for customers, so you can customize your structure to meet aesthetic preferences. We hot dip galvanize frames if they will be used in a corrosive environment, which provides additional protection against rust and corrosion. These hot dip galvanized frames are submerged in a zinc bath for even distribution around the steel.
Traditional secondary framing members, including flange braces, purlins, and bracing rods, add strength to the fabric structure. All secondary framing members are available with the same coating options as the frame, creating a universal look and preventing corrosion from starting in a small, inconspicuous area.
