Solid Steel Frames - Engineering Certainty
Legacy designs, fabricates and installs buildings with solid steel, tapered, I-beams. The result is a structure with engineering certainty—a strong, durable frame that will last for decades. To design the frames, we use the same software that is standard in the metal building industry. Our drawings are, therefore, universally understood by engineers and contractors across the spectrum of the construction industry.
The strength of our frames translates into additional options for our customers. Using solid steel, we can engineer beams that support additional loads such as conveyors, cranes, catwalks, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, mezzanines, scoreboards, goal posts and more.
Every building Legacy does is customized. We design, engineer, fabricate and install our structures in house, so every building begins as a blank slate. Do you need a building but aren’t sure if you can fit one into the footprint you own? Do you have a building that has a lot of added requirements such as cranes, conveyors, mezzanines, lean-tos or multiple roof heights? Maybe you just need something extra-big, both wide and long?
Give our designers a challenge. They love it.
We don’t do cookie cutter. We don’t do off-the-shelf. We tailor your building to your needs, simple as that. That simplicity, however, gives you a lot of options as a building owner. We can walk you through them. We think the finished design will impress you.
Installation of Legacy’s tension fabric structures is a specialized process, and our structures have proprietary techniques that are essential to the success of the project.
Our crews are trained in our patented installation techniques, as well as our strict safety standards, and they travel the world doing building after building. We also manufacture the materials for our structures, so our teams in the steel and fabric shops know exactly how to load the components onto the trucks so our crews can install them right away. Anyone who has worked construction knows how important it is to have excellent coordination.
