The Rundown

Two military hangars were requested by Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. Each hangar is 170 ft x 100 ft, totaling 34,000 total square feet of hangar space and engineered to withstand 195 mph wind speeds. 

Feature Details

  • Two buildings, each 170 ft x 100 ft (34,000 total sq ft)
  • 195 mph wind speed, exposure C, seismic D
  • EpoxxiShield™ COR Plus frame finish
  • White and tan ExxoTec™ Elite PVC fabric cladding on exterior
  • Interior is lined with white ExxoTec™ Pro PVC cladding and insulated with R30 insulation
  • Passive ventilation through 18-in overhangs with black mesh soffits and 10 roof vents on each building
  • 158 ft x 23 ft bottom rolling hangar door, 16 ft x 20 ft coil door, and personnel doors on each building
  • Each building is engineered to support a foam fire suppression system, HVAC system, lighting and draft curtains
  • Installed by Legacy crews
