The fish operation included the Influent Treatment Building, the Effluent Filter Building and the Post Smolt Facility. All of the building structures required a corrosion-resistant finish on the steel that we supplied using our Epoxxishield Paint System.

A lot of the temporary structures in the region are fabric structures, so we mainly looked at those types of buildings. Due to the overall project timeline, the buildings had to be constructed in the dead of winter. We had a great working relationship with Legacy throughout the entire process. Our salt is delivered by rail cars to a large pit next to the storage structure. A conveyor system hoists it from pit to building. Legacy was the only company we talked to that could supply trusses strong enough to support the conveyors.
